Today is the last day I will be updating this blog site. I'm putting Miller Comics to rest so that I can be more focus on one webcomic going forward.
It's strange for me. I've been writting Miller Comics on all my drawings since I was a snot nosed little kid, but it makes sense to move on from it finally. To grow up a little as it were and to try to be more of a webcomic artist than just some guy messing around with different ideas. I don't want to confuse people anymore with this week is this comic, next week is something new, week after going back to an old comic... and so on.
I sat down and wrote out story ideas for each comic I currently make to see which one had the ideas flowing more. Healthy Obsessions (HOB) own with out a doubt. It turned out to be the one I can play around the most with. So I re-invented it. Change the style to match more with the look I want to move towords. Slowly bring in characters so you get to know them. A little more story driven with a gag a day feel. And it allows me to bring in characters that I and others liked from my other comics to join in on the fun.
So I hope you my fans will join me at me new site as I take HOB forward and hopefully to a better place of fun and laughs!

It has been a blast these last few years playing around with all the different comics that I have created. And I'm looking forward to really pushing HOB they way it should have been two years ago. So let get the fun started already!

More Comics added to the Archives
If you check out the list of links on the home page you will noticed that I have added some. There are now links going to the classic Fred and Stan comics from the first run of 75 comics. You can also check out the old Healthy Obsesssions comic and Space Fillers from the early days of my first Miller Comics website! I get a giggle every time I read through these and I wanted to make sure those who where fans could still see them.
When I first sat down to start making web comics I wasn't really sure what the future would hold. Life has thrown it share of curve balls making it hard to maintine a good long running comic. Plus my own struggle with always having different ideas about different kinds of comics I want to make. Here we are now in 2010 and I finally understand what my own site really offers. Miller Comics is about my creative need to make silly comics. Going forward there will always be a focus on one comic or another but you will always be able to find them all right here!
Monday starts a new comic I want to share with you folks called Wild Shanty. Its a comic that will have a start and a ending running for a few weeks to play out the story. It started out as a silly conversation with the wife and I one night and lead to a comic that I just had to get out. Knowing full well my past of starting something and then leaving it behind, I developed this idea to start and end. If you folks end up liking it then let me know and I will plan on making another run of them in the near future. But once this story plays out we will be back to seeing Fred and Stan as my main daily comic with some Ninja Monkey comics thrown in from time to time because I know we all like that cool little monkey.
As always, this site is about fun so with that...
